William Quaedvlieg

William Quaedvlieg is an accomplished expert in phytopathology with extensive experience in both industry and research. Currently serving as the Head of Phytopathology at Royal Van Zanten since January 2019, William coordinates all diagnostic and phytosanitary matters while overseeing resistance testing across crops and managing applied research in plant health. Prior roles include Scientific Researcher and Diagnostic Researcher at Naktuinbouw, where William specialized in pathogen detection techniques and diagnosis of plant pathogens. With a PhD in Phytopathology from CBS-KNAW and multiple degrees in plant biotechnology and botany, William has also conducted significant research on plant pathogen interactions, contributing to advancements in agricultural practices and plant health management.
