Phil Lemley's work experience begins in 2009 when they worked as a Day Camp Counselor at SeaWorld Orlando, leading and managing camps for groups ranging from pre-K to 8th grade. Phil continued their work at SeaWorld Orlando in 2010 as a Resident Camp Counselor, where they led and managed career camps and taught lessons on animal careers and marine animal information.
In 2011, Phil worked as a Client Representative at Worldwide Visions Inc, representing multiple clients and providing customer service in big box retailers. Later that year, they became an Account Executive at Future Innovations Savannah, GA, where they interviewed applicants, trained new employees, and assisted with advertising campaigns.
From 2012 to 2015, Phil held various roles in environmental education. Phil worked as an Environmental Educator at Casper Mountain Science School, teaching outdoor educational programs and developing lesson plans. Phil then became a Marine Science Instructor at Catalina Island Marine Institute (CIMI), leading groups on various outdoor activities and creating social media material. Following that, they became an Aquarist at Catalina Island Marine Institute, responsible for marine fish and invertebrate care and creating exhibits.
In 2015, Phil joined Monterey Bay Aquarium as a Guest Experience Programs Specialist, where they developed educational programming, responded to guest comments and questions, and contributed to the development of new programs.
Phil's most recent work experience is at RPCS, where they initially worked as a Project Analyst from 2018 to 2022, creating technical layouts and documents, performing GIS analysis, and acting as a liaison between internal team members and third-party firms. Phil then transitioned to the role of Sales Manager, starting in 2022.
Throughout their work experience, Phil has demonstrated a strong focus on education and creating engaging experiences for their audiences.
Phil Lemley obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Marine Biology from Florida Southern College. Phil studied at the college from 2007 to 2011.
