Michael Hazinski

Michael Hazinski joined Retail Properties of America, Inc. (RPAI) in 2007 and currently serves as Senior Vice President, Director of Investments. In this role, Mr. Hazinski is responsible for both acquisitions and dispositions for the Company. Since joining RPAI, Mr. Hazinski has executed over $3.5 billion in transactions encompassing acquisitions, dispositions, debt financing and joint venture equity. Prior to his current position, Mr. Hazinski was responsible for the asset management of RPAI’s institutional joint venture platform and played an active role in the asset management of the Company’s office and industrial portfolio. Before joining RPAI, Mr. Hazinski worked as an asset manager for a portfolio of closed-end funds invested in retail and multi-family assets.

Mr. Hazinski received his B.S. in Finance from the University of Dayton and an M.B.A. in Finance and Economics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
