Philip R. Lapp

Philip R. Lapp, MD, ECNU, FACE, founded the Rutland Diabetes and Endocrinology Center in 1995 after completing his Endocrinology fellowship at the Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. He graduated Summa Cum Laude, with Phi Beta Kappa honors from Colby College and received his MD from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Endocrinology, is board certified in Diabetes Endocrinology and Metabolism, and received Endocrine Certification in Neck Ultrasound in 2009. Dr. Lapp is Vice Chair of the RRMC Medical Management Committee, a member of the RRMC Leadership Council, and has previously served as RRMC Chief Medical Information Officer from 2012-2014. His practice interests include thyroid ultrasound, thyroid biopsies and the management of thyroid cancer. Dr. Lapp lives in Ira, Vermont with his wife, Michele.
