Mark Funnell has a diverse work experience spanning over 24 years. Mark started their career at Legal & General Investment Management as an Application Support Analyst, providing 2nd line IT support. Mark then moved to Tata Consultancy Services to continue their role as an Application Support Analyst for the Legal & General account. In 2009, they returned to Legal & General Investment Management as a Corporate Actions Analyst, overseeing the daily trading of investment funds and creating management information reports. Mark later joined British Airways Holidays as a Test Analyst, responsible for creating and implementing test plans. Mark then transitioned to Virgin Holidays as a Solutions Analyst, where they were involved in various Agile and waterfall IT projects, business analysis, testing, and IT support. Mark joined Hastings Direct as a Senior Business Analyst, leading projects related to data enrichment, stakeholder management, and converting technical specifications into user stories. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Digital Business Analyst at RSA, where they focus on gathering digital requirements and improving customer journeys through web page simplification and analytics enhancement.
Mark Funnell has a diverse education history. Mark completed the Agile (SAFE for teams) program at Scaled Agile, where they specialized in Kanban and Scrum methodologies. In 2008, they pursued the ITIL Version 3 - Foundation Course. Mark also obtained the CF6 (Mortgage Advice) certification from the Chartered Insurance Institute in 2011. Mark further enhanced their knowledge in the field of mortgage advice by passing the CEMAP 1 - UK Financial Regulation exam in 2010. Mark's earliest educational endeavor was at Lewes Tertiary College from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained a GNVQ Level 3 in Business and Finance. Additionally, they hold several certifications, including Agile Fundamentals from ICAgile and ITIL Version 3.
