Philbert Chan

Philbert Chan has a strong background in air quality consulting and assessment. Philbert currently works at RSSB as the Air Quality Lead, where they are responsible for developing and operating an air quality monitoring program for the rail network in the UK, as well as conducting research and strategic work to improve air quality in the rail industry. Prior to this, Philbert worked at Arup as a Senior Air Quality Consultant, leading and managing complex air quality assessments for various projects. Philbert also managed the air quality team in London, overseeing resource management, training, and business development. Before Arup, Philbert held roles as a Principal Air Quality Consultant at Jacobs and MLM Group, where they successfully grew the air quality business and managed project delivery. Philbert began their career as a Junior Consultant at STATS, where they assisted in the delivery of air quality assessment and monitoring projects. Overall, Philbert's work experience spans over 15 years and includes a diverse range of roles and responsibilities in the field of air quality consulting.

Philbert Chan received a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Environmental Science from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2004. Philbert then pursued a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Nottingham, which they completed in 2005.
