Patrick van der Sande

Patrick Van der Sande is an experienced Senior DBA and Architect System/Storage Engineer with a focus on Oracle Database systems and infrastructure. Currently employed at RSVZ - INASTI since July 2015, Patrick leads projects related to Oracle databases, Redhat systems, Netapp administration, Flexpod architecture, and VMWare management while establishing best practices and performance monitoring. Prior roles include Oracle DBA positions at De Lijn, BNP Paribas Fortis, Schlumberger, and Johnson and Johnson, with responsibilities ranging from database upgrades to support and deployment assistance. As Managing Director of ANDES Consulting BVBA from February 1999 to June 2015, Patrick managed a consultancy offering Oracle DBA services, software development, and website development. Education includes degrees in Industrial Engineering (Hogeschool Antwerpen) and Civil Engineering (Vrije Universiteit Brussel).
