Sachintha Kariyawasam

Sachintha Kariyawasam's work experience begins in 2011 as a Trainee Electrical Engineer at both the Sri Lanka Ports Authority and Ceylon Electricity Board/ Lanka Electricity Company. From 2012 to 2013, Sanchinthra worked as a Temporary Lecturer, Temporary Instructor, and Visiting Instructor at the University of Moratuwa. In 2014, Sanchinthra became a Research Assistant at the University of Manitoba until 2016. From 2016 to 2017, Sanchinthra worked as a Verification Specialist at ERLPhase Power Technologies Ltd. Currently, Sanchinthra holds the position of Simulation Engineer at RTDS Technologies Inc. starting from 2017. They also held the role of Simulation Specialist at RTDS Technologies Inc. from 2017 to 2020.

Sachintha Kariyawasam pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 1994 to 2007, they attended Sri Sumangala College in Panadura, where they completed their G.C.E. O/L in 2004 and G.C.E. A/L in 2007. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Moratuwa from 2008 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of the Science of Engineering (First Class Honours) in Electrical Engineering. Subsequently, Sachintha joined the University of Manitoba from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering.
