Tyler Seredynski has a diverse range of work experience. Tyler began their career in 2009 as a Summer Research Student in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Manitoba. In 2010 and 2011, they continued their research as a Summer Research Student in Power Engineering and Microwave Imaging, respectively.
In 2012, Tyler worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Manitoba, where their focus was on developing a modelling environment for replicating electrical activity associated with seizures and studying the effects of different stimuli.
In 2013, Tyler took on the role of an Electrical Engineer at the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Occupational Therapy. Here, they researched GPS data analysis techniques and recommended power supply solutions for a custom GPS application. Tyler also solved placement challenges of assistive technology for persons with disabilities by considering client situation, feedback, and available resources.
In the same year, Tyler joined RTDS Technologies Inc. as an Embedded System Developer. Tyler later transitioned to the role of Power and Control System Simulation Specialist. In this role, they developed, tested, and documented modern power system simulation cases. Tyler also led equipment installation and commissioning at customer sites and conducted training courses.
Overall, Tyler has gained expertise in embedded systems development, power and control system simulation, research, and electrical engineering.
Tyler Seredynski earned their Bachelors of Electrical Engineering with a focus on Biomedical at the University of Manitoba, where they attended from 2007 to 2012. During their time at the university, they also participated in an exchange program at Kokugakuin University from 2007 to 2008, where they studied Japanese Language and Culture.
