Julia Vila Guilera

Julia Vila Guilera, PhD, is a Research Epidemiologist at RTI Health Solutions since January 2023. Prior to this role, Julia served as an Epidemiology Analyst at IQVIA, focusing on pharmacoepidemiological analyses and deliverables for pharmaceutical clients. Julia completed a PhD at UCL, where research included a case study on Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene practices in rural India. Experience also includes a position as a Research Assistant at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where research involved public health data analysis and mathematical modeling for tuberculosis control. Julia began their professional journey as a Research Development Intern at Biosystems S.A. Julia holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Global Health and a Master of Science in Social Epidemiology, along with a Bachelor of Science in Biosystems Engineering.
