Paul Bonvallet

Paul Bonvallet has a diverse work experience in the scientific and healthcare industry. Paul currently holds the position of Director of Scientific Affairs at RTI Surgical® starting from February 2023. Before that, they worked as a Director at Modern Meadow from February 2022 to February 2023.

Prior to these roles, Paul worked at Integra LifeSciences as a Staff Scientist from August 2021 to February 2022, and as a Sr. Scientist from October 2018 to August 2021.

Paul also has experience at L'Oréal, where they served as a Group Leader for Anti-Aging from January 2017 to October 2018 and as a Senior Scientist in Skin Applied Research from January 2015 to January 2017.

Their earlier work experience includes working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Alabama at Birmingham from June 2014 to January 2015, and as a Graduate Student from August 2009 to June 2014. During this time, they focused on the engineering of bio-mimetic electrospun scaffolds for full-thickness skin regeneration. Paul gained skills in tissue culture, biomaterial construction, cell biology, and peptide chemistry, among others.

Paul Bonvallet completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biophysics at Clemson University from 2004 to 2008. Paul then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioengineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where they studied from 2009 to 2014.
