Rion Smith

Rion Smith is an experienced operations engineer currently employed at RTI Surgical® since October 2022. Prior to this role, Rion spent 17 years at Invivo Corporation, advancing through several engineering positions, including Manufacturing Engineering Manager, where leadership of a nine-engineer team focused on sustaining and shutting down production and service operations. Rion's experience encompasses mentoring junior engineers, participating in program management, and supporting various manufacturing projects, including automated test equipment (ATE) and preventive maintenance. Rion's career began as a Manufacturing Electronic Technician, leading to responsibilities in production line leadership and advanced troubleshooting. Rion holds an Associate of Science in Electronic and Computer Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management, both from DeVry University.
