Jose Carpena

Jose Carpena is an accomplished Fabrication Designer currently working at Red Tettemer O'Connell + Partners since October 2021. With a strong foundation in design and production, Jose operates MZ Studios, focusing on creating valuable products from reclaimed materials since June 2018. Previous experience includes roles as a Visual Merchandiser at IKEA and Design Engineer at Cottingham LTD, where responsibilities encompassed drafting, CAD modeling, and CNC operation. Jose has also managed a Maker Space at The University of the Arts and gained technical skills as a Shop Technician. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Product Design from the University of the Arts, attended from 2016 to 2019.
