Nikos Stergiopoulos

Nikos Stergiopoulos is a Full Professor at EPFL since 2002 and has extensive entrepreneurial experience in the biomedical field. As the Founder and CEO of Rheon Medical SA since March 2010, and the Founder and CSO of Comphya since July 2019, Stergiopoulos has demonstrated significant leadership in innovative medical technologies. Additional roles include Co-Founder of RTsafe, Founder and Managing Director of Antlia SA from 2009 to 2019, and Founder and CSO of EndoArt from 1998 to 2007. An academic background includes serving as an Assistant Professor at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne from 1996 to 2002, supported by a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Iowa State University and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
