Carolina Lara-Mesa has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Carolina is currently working as a Senior Designer at Ruca, a nomadic design studio and startup advisory firm. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Designer at Grupo Prisa, where they led the design presence for all digital products of Prisa Radio. Carolina also worked as a Portfolio Development Professor at Miami Ad School Punta Cana and as the Founder and UX & Design lead at ST37 Sport et Technologie. Additionally, Carolina has served as a speaker at TEDx Women 2021 and held the role of Senior Designer at The Bird Movement. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Graphic Designer at Virtual Contenidos S.L., MOB THE PEOPLE YOU NEED, and Publibureau S.L. Carolina also gained experience in public relations and guest coordination at Mostra de Valencia. Carolina's work experience showcases their expertise in design, portfolio development, teaching, and public relations.
Carolina Lara-Mesa began their education in 2002 at the Istituto Europeo di Design, where they pursued a degree in Graphic Design. Carolina completed their studies in 2005. In 2010, Carolina enrolled at ESERP Business & Law School to further their education in Public Relations/Image Management. Carolina obtained a degree in RRPP, COMUNICATION & PROTOCOL in 2011. Continuing their educational journey, Carolina attended the Miami Ad School (M.AD School) from 2016 to 2018, specializing in Art Direction within the field of Advertising. Alongside their formal education, Carolina also attained multiple certifications as an ADAA 2018 Semi-finalist from AdobeEDU in May 2018.
