Anand Jagannathan

Anand Jagannathan has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Anand is currently working as the Site Head for Engineering Leadership at Ruckus Networks since October 2021. Prior to this, they spent almost two decades at HCL Technologies, where they held the position of Head of Data Center Systems and Software from December 2002 to September 2021.

Before joining HCL Technologies, Anand worked at GE Capital as a Manager of Software Development. During their time there from August 1996 to November 2002, they worked on various projects related to satellite communication systems, including protocol acceleration over high latency wide area networks and designing QoS enhancements for TCP.

Prior to their career in the industry, Anand also gained experience as a Software Engineer at Riverbed Technology from June 1995 to August 1996. Anand also had multiple roles at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, including Graduate Teaching Assistant and Coordinator of the Languages Lab in the Department of Computer Science from July 1994 to May 1995, and Graduate Research Assistant at IBM Creative Projects Lab from August 1993 to July 1994.

Anand Jagannathan completed their Higher Secondary education at Don Bosco in Egmore, Madras, from 1975 to 1989. Anand then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering at the College of Engineering, Guindy, from 1989 to 1993. Following this, Anand obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, from 1993 to 1995.
