Karey Masso

Karey Masso has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Karey started their career as a Design Freelancer, specializing in children's apparel, at Abercrombie & Fitch and The Bon Ton Stores Inc. in 2007. Karey then worked as a Freelance Designer at AMERICAN EAGLE OUTFITTERS INC., focusing on men's apparel, before joining JCPenney in 2008. At JCPenney, they held various roles, including Design Freelancer for women's apparel and Design Director, where they oversaw the design process. In 2019, Karey became a Design Director at JCPenney, responsible for leading a team and creating innovative designs. Most recently, they joined RuffleButts in 2022 as a Senior Design Director.

Karey Masso earned a Bachelor's degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from the University of Cincinnati, completing their education from 2005 to 2010.
