Brian Scott

Brian Scott is an experienced R&D professional specializing in food science, currently serving as the R&D Manager for Bakery at Ruiz Foods since January 2018. In this role, Brian develops new tortillas and batters while assisting in cost-saving initiatives across multiple product aspects. Prior to Ruiz Foods, Brian held various positions at The Coca-Cola Company, where responsibilities included researching innovative ingredients, and at Nestle Dreyers Ice Cream, focusing on developing and renovating ice cream products. Brian began a career in food technology at Otis Spunkmeyer, developing baked goods. Brian holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Food Science from Brigham Young University, earned between 1999 and 2003.
