Daniele Cortinovis

Daniele Cortinovis is a Senior Data Scientist at RULMECA since September 2021, with prior experience as a Data Scientist at OROBIX Srl from September 2015 to September 2021, focusing on machine learning and artificial intelligence projects, including prognostic risk calculations from Covid-19 and deep reinforcement learning for video game applications. Earlier, Daniele was an Early Stage Researcher at DESY from June 2012 to August 2015, contributing to the development of a multimodal medical imaging tool, and interned at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory from May 2011 to March 2012, where software was developed for nuclear physics instrumentation simulations. Daniele holds a PhD in Nuclear Physics from the University of Hamburg, a Master’s degree in Elementary Particle Physics, and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca.
