Louis Kanganis has a long and impressive career in business. Louis began their career in 1982 as a Software Engineer at the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies, where they developed code for the International Satellite Cloud Climatology Project. In 1987, they became an Equity Portfolio Manager for a number of financial institutions, with direct P&L responsibility for assets exceeding $400 million. In 1998, they joined Nerve Media as CFO. In 2001, they co-founded Spring Street Networks, a leading private-label online personals service provider, and negotiated and closed over 100 partnerships with major media properties. In 2005, they became CEO of MenuLogic, the first enterprise-class table-side touch screen ordering system for the hospitality industry. In 2009, they became Principal of Korthi Industries, LLC. In 2018, they joined New Barn Organics as COO & CFO, leading $6M in fundraising efforts and eventually being acquired by NestFresh, a division of Hidden Villa Ranch. In 2020, they became President of Miyoko's, guiding the 200-employee company through COVID to 100%+ revenue growth and over 60k US points of distribution. Louis was directly responsible for Operations, Sales, Marketing/DTC, Finance and Admin (HR/Legal/IT) functions, and closed a $52M Series C growth capital round in August 2021. Finally, in 2022, they became CEO of Run Gum.
Louis Kanganis attended Columbia University from 1981 to 1985, where they earned a BA in Geophysics. Louis then attended Columbia Business School from 1985 to 1987, where they earned an MBA in Finance.
