Matthew Pew has a diverse work experience in the film, TV, and creative production industry. Matthew started their career in 2009 as a Video Editor and Media Transcoder Intern at Ally Distribution. After that, they worked as an Assistant Editor and Video Production Intern at 4th Avenue Media in 2010. In 2011, they gained further experience as a Grip & Electric Intern for the movie "Mine Games" by Yellow Brick Films and as an Office/Location Production Assistant for the movie "21 and Over" by Relativity Media.

From 2013 onwards, Matthew worked as a freelancer, taking on various roles in the film and TV industry. Matthew served as a Cinematographer and Camera Department Tech, contributing their skills to numerous projects. In 2013, they also had an internship with Northwest Tech Outerwear, where they provided video and photography services as part of their media brand team.

In 2014, Matthew joined Microsoft as a Video Producer, Videographer, and Video Editor. Matthew worked in this role until 2018, gaining extensive experience in video production and editing. In 2019, they became a Camera Operator and Remote Video Editor at RUN Studios. Matthew continued their freelance work, joining Cardiff Snowcraft as a Cinematographer and Video Content Creator in 2021.

In 2022, Matthew began working at Unify Consulting as a Creative Services Producer. Their role in this position involved overseeing creative projects and ensuring successful delivery of services. Their tenure at Unify Consulting ended in January 2023.
