Abhay Kulkarni

Abhay Kulkarni has worked in the software engineering industry since 2009. Abhay started their career at Deskera as a Software Platform Engineer, where they were responsible for definition, design and development of product enhancements and deployment and release scheduling. In 2012, they joined Cognizant Technology Solutions as a Senior Associate, where they worked with a European investment banking client and specialized in UI/UX development and the building of a workflow application for customer onboarding and CRM. In 2016, they joined Rakuten Asia Pte Ltd, where they served as a Java Architect, Technical Lead, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. During their time there, they managed and engineered Java stack ad tech products with massive data pipelines made for Rakuten's Japan e-commerce business, initiated and led technology revamp and business re-organisation of Discount Coupon generation system, and engineered a Spring Boot based control system for campaign management, live data processing and advertisement selection. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at WeGift.

Abhay Kulkarni attended Savitribai Phule Pune University from 2005 to 2009 and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology.
