Guillaume Adam has held various positions in the technology, athletics, and research fields. From 2018 to present, they have been the Co-founder & CTO of RunMotion Coach, a digital coach that helps runners to achieve their running goals. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Graduate Research Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where they created a model to analyze and predict performances in running and developed features on a website to analyze GPS and Heart Rate data from runners. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Professional Athlete and Sub 4 Miler at the FFA - Fédération Française d'Athlétisme, where they were a 10x French national champion and was selected twice in the French national team. From 2012 to 2014, they were the Co-founder and Web Developer at Culture Athle. From 2014 to 2015, they were an R&D Project Intern at Richemont, where they modeled the energy behavior of the mainspring of a mechanical watch and studied the influencing parameters and new concepts to increase the power reserve of the watch. In 2013, they were a CAD Automation Intern at Nicomatic.
Guillaume Adam began their education in 2006, when they obtained their Sciences Baccalauréat - Engineering Sciences from Lycée Jean Monnet - Annemasse. In 2008, they earned their Master's of Science (diplôme d'Ingénieur) in Mechanical Engineering (Génie Mécanique Développement) from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon. From 2013 to 2014, they studied Mechanical Engineering & Business School at the University of Birmingham as part of a Year Study Abroad. In 2018, they completed their DEUG in Physical and Sports Activities Science and Techniques from Université Savoie Mont Blanc. In 2020, they obtained a certification in L’entraînement sportif en trail et ultra-trail 2.0 from the Université de Toulouse.
