Ivo Chopnikolov

Ivo Chopnikolov has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Ivo currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Runnymede Healthcare Centre, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Finance at the same company from October 2020 to October 2022.

Before their role at Runnymede Healthcare Centre, Ivo served as the Manager of Finance at Headwaters Health Care Centre from July 2012 onwards. In this role, they were responsible for various financial tasks, such as budgeting, forecasting, financial statement preparation, and audit management. Ivo also handled grants, donations, and CAPEX financial activities.

Earlier in their career, Ivo gained experience as a Senior Financial Analyst at Loblaw Companies Limited from October 2011 to June 2012. Ivo then worked as a Senior Financial Analyst on a contract basis at GE Water & Process Technologies from May 2011 to September 2011. At these companies, they focused on financial analysis, project spending monitoring, contract management, and budget reporting.

Ivo's career began at Direct Energy, where they served as a Financial Analyst from September 2005 to April 2011. In this role, they were involved in financial forecasting, budgeting, project accounting, capital assets management, and audit liaisons. Ivo also contributed to product research and development processes.

Throughout their career, Ivo has demonstrated expertise in financial management, budget analysis, audit coordination, and strategic planning. Ivo has a strong track record of delivering accurate and timely financial information and supporting the overall financial health of organizations.

Ivo Chopnikolov holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from CPA Ontario. Ivo has obtained certifications in Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn and has completed a HealthCare Leadership course through the Ontario Hospital Association. Additionally, they have acquired various technical certifications related to SAP, SAP BI, BudMan, Infor, Pathways Financial Management, Adaptive, Power Point, Kronos, Power BI, GERS, Hyperion/Oracle, Cognos, Access, Crystal Reports, BAAN, Meditech, Medassets, Jonas, and Access, which have been obtained through their employers.
