Dave Barmore

Dave Barmore is a co-founder of Runway Strategies, which specializes in advising hyper-growth companies on regulatory and policy challenges globally. Currently serving in public affairs for Internet Works, a trade association for small and medium-sized technology platforms, and as a board member for the Equality Legal Action Fund, which defends LGBTQ community members from defamation. Previously, Dave held positions including Head of Policy and Government Relations at REEF and Public Policy Manager at Uber, where efforts contributed to establishing a regulatory framework for ridesharing. Earlier experience includes work as a Junior Associate at the Podesta Group and as a Research Associate at America's Health Insurance Plans, as well as a Legislative Correspondent in the U.S. House of Representatives. Dave holds a BA in Political Science and Economics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
