Tara Viswanathan has worked for a number of companies since 2012. Tara began their career as an Operations Intern at Dagne Dover in 2012. Tara then founded Tara Lakshana Chocolate in 2013, and also worked as a Course Assistant / Teaching Assistant and Graduate Residential Advisor at Stanford University. In 2014, they worked as a Product Marketing Intern at Juicero, an Educator, Lead Community Relationships & Visual Merchandising at lululemon, and a Course Assistant / Teaching Assistant at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford (d.school). In 2015, they worked as a Product Manager at Anova Culinary and founded VIVE Consulting. In 2016, they worked as Product & Ops at Parsley Health. Finally, in 2018, they became Co-Founder & CEO of Rupa Health.
Tara Viswanathan began their educational journey in 2008 when they attended The Wharton School, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Operations & Information Management in 2012. In 2010, they attended The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, though no degree was obtained. Tara then went on to Stanford University, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Management Science & Engineering in 2015. In 2018, Tara obtained two certifications: Certified Nutrition & Wellness Consultant from AFPA American Fitness Professionals & Associates and Certified Nutrition & Wellness Consultant from American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
