Hillamaria Mäkinen

Hillamaria Mäkinen has a diverse work experience spanning from 2009 to 2021. Hillamaria began their career as a Waitress at Delibar Oy in 2009, followed by a role as a Bartender and Event Promoter at Koskiravintolat - Miami - Hullu Poro Tampere - Skål in 2014. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Promotion and Event Coordinator at Olvi Oyj and as a CEO x 1 Day Finalist at Odgers Berndtson. In 2018, they took on a role as a Class Teacher at Sodankylän kunta / Sodankylä municipality, followed by a role as a Tax Clerk at Verohallinto in 2020. In 2021, they worked as a Human Resources Administrator at Rupert Finland Oy and as a Human Resources and Communications Manager at Rupert Resources. Additionally, they were a Dance School Manager / Owner at Starline Cheer and Dance School from 2016 to 2021.

Hillamaria Mäkinen has an extensive educational background. Hillamaria began their studies in 2004 at Tampereen lyseon lukio, where they earned an International Baccalaureate Diploma. From 2005 to 2006, they attended Kwalikum Secondary School as part of a Youth Exchange program through Rotary International. From 2008 to 2015, they attended the University of Tampere 1925-2018, where they earned a Master of Arts in English Philology. In 2010, they completed a Master's degree / ERASMUS at the University of Cyprus in English language and literature. Finally, they attended the University of Lapland from 2014 to 2020, where they earned a Master of Social Sciences in Organizational Leadership.
