Juozas Adamonis began their work experience as an Engineer at Ltd Teravil in 2012, where they worked until 2017. During this time, they also held the role of Researcher at the Center for Physical Sciences and Technology from 2015 to 2017, and previously worked as a Junior Research Scientist and an Engineer at the same organization. In 2017, they joined the Baltic Institute of Advanced Technology (BPTI) as a Senior Researcher, a position they held until 2018. Following this, Adamonis joined Metasite in 2018 as a Junior Java Developer and later became a Java Software Engineer in 2020. Since 2022, they have been working as a Software Developer at Ruptela.
Juozas Adamonis received their high school education from Vilnius Žirmūnai Gymnasium from 2000 to 2004. Juozas then went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Physics and Electronics from Vilnius University from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Materials and Technology of Optoelectronics from Vilnius University from 2008 to 2010. Lastly, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics at Vilnius University from 2010 to 2015, where they focused on their dissertation titled "Terahertz Optoelectronics Components of Semiconductor Materials with Deep Defects."
