Shannon Stewart

Shannon Stewart has extensive experience in community outreach and program coordination, with a focus on youth and environmental initiatives. Currently serving as the Ohio Stream RestorCorps Program Assistant at Rural Action since August 2013, Shannon monitors watershed treatment systems and fosters community engagement. Previously, Shannon launched a pilot Kids on Campus program for elementary students, acted as an AmeriCorps VISTA supporting afterschool programs, coordinated community meals at UCM Athens, and contributed as a research assistant at Ohio University. Shannon holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Social Work from Ohio University, emphasizing food security and social work practice.
