Nathan Mercurio

Nathan Mercurio serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Rural and Remote Mental Health since May 2021, where initial roles included Acting Chief Executive Officer and Director of Programs and Operations. Additionally, Nathan is a Volunteer Fire Fighter with the South Australian Country Fire Service and has contributed to SA Health as a Partnering with Consumers Committee Member. As the National Program Manager for COTA SA from June 2019 to December 2020, Nathan managed the expansion of the Strength for Life program across Australia. Prior experience includes positions such as Field Officer at MATES in Construction SA and Community Health Manager at Sonder, overseeing various health initiatives. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Public Health from the University of South Australia, alongside multiple certifications in project management, public participation, and mental health first aid.
