Drey Solano

Drey Solano has worked in the software engineering industry since 2002. In that time, they have worked for Rush ReCommerce, Hayneedle.com, ProData Computer Services, Hayneedle, Inc., Solano's Boot & Western Wear, and the University of Nebraska at Omaha. At Rush ReCommerce, Drey was a Staff Software Engineer, where they architected and developed a new front-end eCommerce website built on VueJS, headless Shopify, Contentful, Algolia, and internal APIs. At Hayneedle.com, Drey was a Senior Manager, Product Manager, and Tech Lead, where they supervised an effort to pioneer a new Content Management System (CMS) platform built on React/Redux/Node. At ProData Computer Services, Drey was a Web Developer, where they took a failed, non-functioning jQuery/Grails/Java app to a production-ready app within 4 months. At Hayneedle, Inc., Drey was a Senior Web Applications Developer, where they supervised the Hayneedle product page conversion to utilize Angular instead of jQuery. At Solano's Boot & Western Wear, Drey was a Co-Manager and Webmaster, where they independently designed and developed a full eCommerce website with PayPal integration built on PHP/jQuery/MySQL. At the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Drey was a Web Developer, where they collaborated closely with the Associate Dean, end-users, development team members, and project managers to design and develop multiple web applications.

Drey Solano attended Blair High School from 1996 to 2000 and obtained a High School degree. Afterwards, they attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems.
