Sarah Hocking

Sarah Hocking is an attorney with extensive experience in litigation, particularly in personal injury, medical malpractice, and workers' compensation cases. Current role as an attorney at Rusin & Maciorowski since May 2022 follows a tenure as an Assistant State’s Attorney at Coles County State’s Attorney from January 2020 to May 2022. Prior to this, Sarah Hocking practiced independently and held corporate counsel positions at Heartland Dental and Christie Clinic, managing risk management and compliance matters. Experience includes serving as Chief Compliance Officer at Carle Foundation Hospital and as a Senior Associate at Craig & Craig, focusing on insurance defense. Sarah Hocking holds a JD from Southern Illinois University School of Law and a BA in Political Science & Sociology from the University of Iowa.
