Danielle Porter

Danielle Porter has a diverse work experience in human resources and education. Danielle currently serves as the HR Director - US at Russel Metals since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an HR Director at Baltimore City Community College from 2021 to 2022, where they were responsible for aligning the organizational HR strategy with the mission and vision. From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Executive Director of Human Resources at LeMoyne-Owen College, leading initiatives such as systems and process improvements, employee relations, and talent management. Before that, they worked as an HR Director and Operations Director, where they assisted organizations in understanding business strategies, identifying performance gaps, and recommending changes. Danielle also has experience in academia, having worked as an Associate Professor at the University of Phoenix from 2008 to 2018, where they provided learning curriculum and facilitated instructional activities. Additionally, they held the position of HR Superintendent at Nyrstar from 2012 to 2014, overseeing HR practices and procedures for multiple mine site locations.

Danielle Porter attended The University of Memphis from 1987 to 1992, where they earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Later, from 2000 to 2002, they enrolled at the University of Phoenix and completed their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Organizational Leadership.
