Summer Akhtar

Summer Akhtar is a User Experience Designer at Russell & Bromley Ltd with experience leading high-impact design projects, including a comprehensive Checkout redesign and Product Detail Page redesign. Akhtar has successfully established a design system, enhancing workload efficiency and site consistency, while also implementing A/B test designs within a conversion rate optimization program. Past roles include serving as Industry Placement Coach at The Sheffield College, where significant employer partnerships were developed and a national-first Mental Health and Wellbeing Academy was launched. Additional experience encompasses work as a Healthy Living Advisor with Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and as an Elite TRIB3 Trainer. Summer Akhtar holds a Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition from The University of Sheffield and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Southampton.
