Julia Lendy

Julia Lendy is an experienced educator currently serving as a 5th and 6th Grade Academic Advisor at Freire Schools since August 2024. Previously, Julia worked as an Elementary School Teacher with Teach For America from July 2022 to June 2024 and contributed as a First Year Americorps Member with City Year, where Julia provided extensive academic support and behavior coaching at Alexander K. McClure Elementary School. Julia’s earlier experiences include roles in marketing and communications at organizations such as the Philadelphia Film Society, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, and Dechert LLP, where Julia focused on content management and media relations. Julia holds a General Education Certification in Math Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Drexel University. Additionally, Julia studied at Sciences Po in France.
