Colin Mackinlay

Colin Mackinlay serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Adviser for the Russell Education Trust since September 2010. Mackinlay has a diverse educational leadership background, including roles as Headteacher at Turing House School from April 2015 to August 2019 and Additional Inspector for Ofsted between April 2011 and July 2019. Additional significant positions include Executive Headteacher at King's School in 2014, Principal Adviser at Becket Keys Church of England School and Bristol Free School, and Interim Headteacher at Blackheath Bluecoat C of E school. Mackinlay also contributed as a Consultant Headteacher for Greenwich Council and served as a Governor at Stanley Park Infants School until August 2018. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Electrical Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
