Dr Philip Hills

Dr. Philip Hills is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in leadership roles across various institutions. Currently serving as Headteacher at Russell Education Trust since June 2023, Dr. Hills previously held the position of Academy Principal at Future Academies from August 2020 to June 2023, and was Headmaster at Oxford High School GDST from September 2017 to August 2019. Additional roles include Deputy Head at Hampton School, Head of Classics at both SPS, London and Bristol Grammar School, and Classics teacher at Eton College. Dr. Hills began an academic career as a Research Fellow in the Faculty of Classics at Jesus College, Cambridge University. Dr. Hills holds an NPQEL in Education from Ambition Institute and multiple degrees in Classics and Classical Languages from Trinity College, Cambridge University.
