Angie Corbett

Angie Corbett has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Angie most recently worked as a People Director at Russell Reynolds Associates starting in 2023. Prior to that, they held several positions at William Grant & Sons, including HR Director for the Owned Distribution Company Business Unit, Regional HR Business Partner for Asia Pacific and Global Travel Retail, HR Business Partner for Policies, Projects, and Diversity & Inclusion, and HR Manager for WG&S UK.

Before joining William Grant & Sons, Angie worked at Berry Bros. & Rudd Ltd as an HR Business Partner for Commercial & International Regions and as an HR Advisor. Angie also gained experience in operations management through the Marks & Spencer Graduate Operations Management Scheme at GIST.

In addition, Angie has international experience, having served as the International Programmes Manager at LEX Institute of Language Experience, Experiment and Exchange in Tokyo, Japan. Angie also worked as a Student Ambassador at FLAGS, The University of Birmingham, and as an International Education Programmes Coordinator at Edvisory IEC - International Education Center Romania.

Early in their career, Angie worked as a Translator and Interpreter at Global Translations Services. Overall, Angie Corbett's work experience demonstrates their expertise in HR, operations management, and international programs.

Angie Corbett completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in International Business with Japanese from the University of Birmingham from 2007 to 2011. Angie then pursued a Full Diploma in HR from Reed Business School between 2013 and 2015. In 2015, Angie obtained a Level 3 certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Angie also holds a WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits, which they acquired in 2014. Additionally, Angie obtained a Graduation Certificate from Inagaku Comprehensive Upper Secondary School in Saitama, Japan, in 2007. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2006, they completed their Graduation Diploma at Kanagawa Sohgoh Koukou in Yokohama, Japan. In 2003, Angie obtained their Romanian Baccalaureate from National College Mihai Eminescu in Oradea, Romania. Finally, they pursued a Bachelor of Laws - LLB degree at the University of Oradea from 2007 to 2012. In terms of additional certifications, Angie obtained a Practitioner certification in Insights Discovery from Insights in May 2020.
