Jo Inge Kaastad

Jo Inge Kaastad has extensive experience in public transport planning and management, currently serving as Styreleder for SAN Ruter since May 2009. Responsibilities include leading the organization of approximately 75 members and collaborating closely with other unions. Jo Inge has held multiple roles in route planning and strategic development at Ruter, such as Project Leader for Ruter's Bus Infrastructure Standards and Manager of Route Scheduling. Previous positions include strategic planner at NSB and civil engineer at Norconsult, contributing to transport infrastructure projects in Oslo. Jo Inge has also been active in various leadership roles within community organizations, including serving as Styreleder for SIV Gymnastikkforening and board member for Stoffskifteforbundet. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Transportation/Mobility Management from NTNU and a Bachelor of Applied Science from Gjøvik University College.
