Birgir Sigfusson

Birgir Sigfusson is a seasoned media and production professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the entertainment industry. Currently serving as Head of Media & Production at RÚV Iceland since January 2018, Sigfusson oversees the public broadcaster's television, radio, and online services. Previous positions include Head of Production at RVK Studios, Managing Director at RVX, Director at MyM-e, and Chairman of BIKi. Sigfusson's earlier career also features significant roles at Future Shorts and The Mill, along with managerial positions at Sagafilm and Samfilm, showcasing a strong background in film, visual effects, and digital media.
