Ntare Ronald

Ntare Ronald is an experienced electrical engineer currently serving as the Chief Engineer for the Distribution Control Center at Energy Utility Corporation Ltd/REG since January 2024. Ronald has successfully overseen the establishment of state-of-the-art Generation and Transmission Control Centers, integrating advanced SCADA/EMS/GIS and Distribution control center technologies. Prior roles include Project Manager for SCADA/EMS/DMS projects at Rwanda Energy Group, Acting Chief Engineer, and Network Operations Planning Manager at Energy Utility Corporation Ltd/REG, with expertise in planning power system projects, conducting technical feasibility studies, and managing network operations. Ronald holds a Master of Science in Electrical Power and Machines Engineering from Alexandria University and a Bachelor's of Science degree with Honors in Electrical Power Engineering from the University of Rwanda.
