Philemon Niyonsenga

Philemon Niyonsenga, CISA, is a seasoned professional in IT systems audit with extensive experience at the Rwanda Revenue Authority as Principal Professional since January 2022, focusing on IT policies, audit plans, and risk evaluation in complex technical operations. Prior to this role, Philemon served in various capacities at the Office of the Auditor General - SAI Rwanda from October 2017 to March 2022, where responsibilities included designing audit strategies, performing vulnerability assessments, and conducting thorough audit tests to ensure compliance and control. Philemon began the professional journey as an IT Intern at the University of Rwanda from October 2016 to September 2017 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Rwanda, as well as advanced studies in Mathematical Sciences from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences.
