Sam Curson

Sam Curson is an experienced yacht designer and project manager with a focus on custom superyachts. Currently serving as Yacht Designer and Associate Team Principal at RWD since April 2018, Sam Curson excels in client relationship development and overseeing design progression with shipyards. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Project Manager at Winch Design, where Sam Curson managed aviation and yacht design projects, successfully delivering a VVIP BBJ. As a Design Associate at Philippe Briand Design, noteworthy contributions included the award-winning refit of M/Y Enigma XK and involvement in luxury yacht designs. Earlier positions spanned from freelance visualisation to lead yacht designer at Rainsford Mann Design, alongside internships at Land Rover, supporting comprehensive design development. Sam Curson holds an MDes in Transport Design from Coventry University.
