Michael Pieterse

Michael Pieterse is a highly experienced professional in mechanical engineering, currently serving as a Senior Project Manager and Associate Principal at RWDI since January 2010. With a robust background in managing over 400 projects, Michael specializes in building air quality, wind loading, acoustics, noise, and vibration issues, leveraging advanced studies and numerical analyses to provide early design guidance. Prior roles include an NSERC Industrial Postgraduate Scholar at Sprung-brett RDI, and various teaching and mentoring positions at the University of Waterloo. Michael holds both M.A.Sc. and B.A.Sc. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, complementing extensive practical experience from various engineering internships and co-op positions.
