Isabel Costa

Isabel Costa has extensive experience in the translation and linguistics fields, currently serving as a Talent Manager and Associate Translation Line Manager at RWS Group since January 2018, following roles as a translator. Prior experience includes proofreading scientific articles for the Portuguese Society of Psychiatry and Psychology of Justice from September 2012 to December 2014, and freelance translation and proofreading from April 2009 to December 2014, specializing in literary and scientific texts. Additionally, Isabel contributed as a research scholarship holder at the Center for Humanistic Studies of the University of Minho, working on a sociolinguistic research project. Isabel holds a Master's degree in Portuguese and Compared Linguistics from Universidade do Minho and a degree in Applied Foreign Languages with a focus on Translation from the same university, supplemented by studies at prestigious institutions including Saint Petersburg State University and Moscow International School of Translation and Interpreting.
