Sheena Gayomba

Sheena Gayomba is an accomplished professional in the field of plant science with a diverse background in research, mentoring, and teaching. Currently serving as the Director of Research at Rx Green Technologies since February 2020, Sheena has previously held roles including Research Manager at the same company and Research Mentor at Wake Forest University, where experience included mentoring students and conducting research on plant physiology. With extensive teaching experience at institutions such as Duke University and Cornell University, Sheena has developed and instructed courses in environmental chemistry and sustainable agriculture while also guiding students in complex molecular biology techniques. Sheena holds a PhD and MS in Crop Science from Cornell University and a BS in Biochemistry from Rider University.
