David Jones

David Jones has a diverse and extensive work experience in IT infrastructure and security. David is currently the Senior Director of Information Security / CISO at RxBenefits, Inc. Prior to this role, they were the Director of Information Security at the same company. David has also held the position of Director of IT Infrastructure and Security, where they led teams responsible for planning, design, and implementation of corporate infrastructure and networks, as well as overseeing enterprise security measures. Before joining RxBenefits, Inc., David was the Director of Infrastructure and Operations at Hibbett Sporting Goods, where they led teams responsible for planning, design, and operation of corporate infrastructure and networks. David has also worked as an Information Assurance Engineer at Perot Systems Government Services, an Information Assurance Network Officer at CIBER, Inc., and a Regional Network Manager at QSS Group, Inc. Throughout their career, David has demonstrated expertise in IT security, risk assessments, policy creation/enforcement, and compliance with industry regulations.

David Jones attended Herzing College from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained an Associate degree in Computer Information Systems. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ Certification in September 2002 and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in June 2002. David also earned the GIAC Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership (GSTRT) certification from GIAC Certifications in August 2021. Additionally, they obtained the IANS Business Acumen Credential from IANS in March 2023, and the IANS Communications Credential from IANS in July 2023.
