Matt Haller has dedicated their career to developing treatments for a variety of medical conditions. Matt is currently the CTO at RxSight, where they are developing a light adjustable lens for cataract surgery patients. Prior to this, they served as the Sr. Program Director at Medtronic, where they developed treatments for diabetes. Matt also founded PocketEcho, an early stage start-up. Matt has also held various positions at Advanced Bionics, Boston Scientific Neuromodulation, and Stanford University. Matt is an experienced engineer with a passion for helping others.
Matt Haller has a Ph.D. from Stanford University in MEMS, communication theory and Ultrasonics, which they obtained in 1994. Matt also has an education from UC San Diego in Electrical Engineering, which they obtained in 1986. Matt took college classes in calculus, chemistry and history while still in high school at Illinois State University from 1980 to 1982.
