Carol Sharkey

Carol Sharkey is the current Chief Risk Officer at Ryanair. Prior to this, they worked as the Governance and Control Lead for the ServiceNow Implementation at Lloyds Bank from July 2018 to December 2018. Sharkey also worked as the PMO Lead for WAS Programme at RBS from June 2016 to June 2018, and as a PMO Analyst for Lloyds Banking Group (Service Delivery Projects) at ECS from August 2013 to June 2016.

Sharkey has experience in managing and coordinating high-profile projects with demanding deadlines, as well as providing technical and administrative support across various areas. In their previous role as a PMO Analyst, they were responsible for maintaining the SD Projects SharePoint site, updating the central External Training Tracker, approving Contractor Timesheets and Expenses, and distributing weekly BEN and hyphen reminder e-mails. Carol has also processed line manager changes in BEN in the past.

Sharkey’s experience in project management, risk management, and administrative support makes their well-qualified for their current position as Chief Risk Officer at Ryanair.

Carol Sharkey's educational career includes studying mathematics, English, Spanish, and accounting at St Ambrose High School in Coatridge.
