Stacey Sotirhos

Stacey Sotirhos currently serves as Lower School Principal at Rye Country Day School, a position held since July 2021. Prior to this, Stacey was the Associate Division Head at Avenues: The World School from 2018 to July 2021 and worked as an Educational Consultant at Generation Ready from 2014 to August 2018. Stacey's career began within the NYC Department of Education, where responsibilities included Instructional Support Specialist, Literacy Coach, and Teacher from 1993 to 2013. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Elementary Education and Teaching and a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor, both earned from New York University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from Rollins College.
